Valentine's Day Date Ideas for You and Your Sisters

Customer Service
No matter how perfect and beautiful you think your sisters are, I'm sure at least a few of you will find yourselves single this Valentine's Day. That doesn't have to mean sitting in your room alone watching soap operas and throwing chocolates at the TV when male stars say "I love you" a la Legally Blonde. Here are ten great ways to celebrate your sorority sisterly love this Valentine's Day from Something Greek!

nothing more to say

1. Watch a movie about friendship. Skip the sappy rom com and for something like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants or Now and Then. 2. Craft. Get a head start on the upcoming big/little reveals and have a craft night! Get some inspiration on our Cheap Sorority Gifts/DIY Pinterest board. 3. Take an exercise class. If you're angry about a boy situation, go with kickboxing. If you want to dance, go with Zumba. If you want to chill, pick yoga. 4. Play Betty Crocker. I know baking relaxes me when I'm tense. Try chocolate covered strawberries to keep with a Valentine's Day theme. 5. Roll out the aps. Raid the frozen section of the grocery store and heat up some pigs in a blanket, mini quiches, mozzarella sticks, etc. for the best meal ever. 6. Check out a new restaurant. I'm dying to try Beyond Sushi, a vegan sushi restaurant in New York City, but I'd totally rather try something a little experimental like this with one of my sisters than with a boy. 7. Choose Secret Santas... er Cupids. You don't even need to spend that much, and it's always nice to get a little Valentine's Day treat even if it's just from one of your sisters! 8. Whip up a homemade face mask. Because each person skin problems are different, here are twenty DIY face masks for you and your sisters to try. 9. Visit a local animal shelter. It's basically impossible to be sad over being single on Valentine's Day while surrounded by puppies! 10. Plan your spring break trip. Don't have plans for spring break yet? What better time to plan out an amazing girls week on your girls-only night! All of the above ways to spend Valentine's Day with your ladies sure beat out that one time I spent Valentine's Day in a selections meeting. But hey, we got stuff DONE that night. What are you and your sisters planning this Valentine's Day? -Michelle Giuseffi
